The classic test for ecstasy (MDMA), also known as Marquis Reagent. Using this test, you will know within seconds whether you are dealing with ecstasy (MDMA), DXM, 2C-B/C/I, DOB, DOI, methylone, butylone, naphyron, methamphetamine, amphetamines, or opiates.

This was the first test for Ecstasy ever to come onto the market (as EZ Test Marquis) and should still serve as your primary test kit. As a rule of thumb to use when testing for the presence of ecstasy (MDMA, MDA, MDE): if it does not turn black, throw it back!

More and more other substances are being sold as ecstasy, but only MDMA should be considered 'real' ecstasy. These counterfeits can have serious side effects such as nausea, anxiety, insomnia, and in the worst case, death. EZ Test is a fast and user-friendly test kit that can determine whether a pill or powder contains MDMA, amphetamine, or other psychoactive substances. It is an effective tool against cutting agents and other potentially harmful substances often found in street drugs.
EZ Test for XTC shows different color reactions with ecstasy (MDMA), speed (amphetamine), 2C-B, 2C-C, 2C-I, DOB, DOI, DXM, Methylone, Butylone, Naphyrone, and Opiates. This test shows NO reaction with piperazines (mCPP) and PMMA.

Usage:

The Marquis test is the original ecstasy test kit and was the first one ever made available to the public. It is the first step in the EZ test range to indicate the presence of ecstasy. The Marquis test will change color for all ecstasy-like substances MDMA, MDA, MDE, MBDB, DXM, 2C-B, Amphetamine, plus DOB, DOI, Methylone, Butylone, Naphyrone, and Opiates. The enclosed information sheet and color chart should correspond to these different substances.

All EZ tests use a chemical reagent absorbed in silica gel, which is contained in a glass ampoule.

When a sample is added to these chemicals in the ampoule, a color change will occur upon reaction. This color must be compared to the color chart included in the package instructions to provide an indication of what might be in the sample.

If your unopened ampoule is damaged, please contact the store where it was purchased.

Instructions:

(1) Break open the ampoule.

(2) Insert a small amount of the sample. (3) Put the plastic lid on and shake well.

4) Compare the color change with the graph.

Warning:

Remember to dispose of the ampoule and sample safely after testing.

The EZ test kits are purely a guideline to help analyze a substance. It is recommended not to touch any substance, and extensive laboratory testing of samples is recommended for more detailed results.
