About the Kapaxanba Rape:
Kapaxanba Rapé was created by a member of the Kuntanawa tribe. This special Rapé is prepared with a base of locally organically grown herbs, including Kapaxanba and Lourinho, together with ash from the Sapota tree. The Lourinho herb gives this Rapé its unique character and provides a pleasant fresh scent. Lourinho is used for spiritual cleansing. In addition, the local plant Kapaxanba, also known as Samsara, is also used in this mix, which has a very specific and wonderful scent. This exclusive Rapé has a strong aromatic character and is particularly suitable for shamanic ceremonies.
About the Kuntanawa Tribe:
The Kuntanawa tribe was almost completely wiped out as a result of the massacres during the rubber boom. After the rubber boom, only a single family remained, and only since the early 2000s did a small group of Kuntanawa begin to claim their indigenous heritage. Unfortunately, their culture is still under threat and the Kuntanawa are still struggling to gain full ethnic recognition and reclaim their territory. Today there are only about 250 members spread across the Acre region of Brazil. To survive, the Kuntanawa join other Pano-speaking tribes and organize festivals together to share their traditions, rituals and culture with foreign visitors. This small Pano-speaking tribe places great value on the ritual use of Ayahuasca to teach and guide them. In fact, the Kuntanawa strongly believe that Ayahuasca will reveal their ancient knowledge and restore their partly lost traditions (Pantoja et al., 2014). However, their language seems to have been irretrievably lost.
Usage:
The powdered rapé can be blown into someone's nasal passages with a Tepi pipe. Or with a Kuripe pipe you can blow it into your own nasal cavity.
Dosage:
Start with a small amount, think of 0.2 to 0.4 grams per nostril. It is also recommended that you do not immediately start with a Rape that is too heavy!
